Neo Park

I gave Annie some time to herself on Friday and took the kids to Neo Park. I guess we ended up going on a day that all the old folks homes on Okinawa decided to take the seniors out for a stroll. The park was kind of nasty and run down for Okinawa. They must have fired all the groundskeepers and didn't have the time to remove all the old rusted out amusement park rides. I didn't take pictures of all the bad parts, so the park doesn't look all that bad in the pictures.

As soon as you walk in the doors of the park, these crazy birds flock toward you. They assume that everyone has food. I couldnt take pictures of them cause Lainey was climbing up me. This is her saying "hi birdie"....over and over and over.

Hi birdie, Hi birdie, Hi birdie, Hi birdie, Hi birdie, Hi birdie, Hi birdie, Hi birdie, Hi birdie, Hi birdie, Hi birdie, Hi birdie, Hi birdie.

The bird she was saying hi to decided to try and walk towards her. This is her saying "no,no birdie". I love the finger shaking along with the crazy face. So totally looks like an old lady yelling at the kids to get off her lawn.

Lainey's favorite bird. I hate birds.
We went for a train ride around the park. I think it was her first time in the train. Ethan had already been to the park with his school, so he was kinda too cool for it.

After the train we took a walk through the jungle to check out more animals.

This is what a lot of the bark is like on the trees in the jungle....ouch.

Weird looking things if you ask me.

Anyone know what the hell this thing is? I don't.
And some parting water lily pictures.

Your kids are living the life. How fun for them to experience all of these fun places.

You guys have the COOLEST parks I have ever seen. We have lots of nature walks, and a new aquatic center here in Logan, but that's about it....oh, and I guess I can't leave out the beautiful mountains. Still, I agree that your kids are REALLY lucky to have exposure to such fun and interesting places.
