HAPPY GIRL! (who is still a chunka chunka)

I wanted to update everyone on Lainey's chunky butt and what better way than to take a naked picture of her and paste it on the web! I love the next picture of her in her swing. She was all smiles that day. Just love my baby girl!

Are they family??

So I wanted to see just how much our two kids look alike. We took the picture of Lainey in the hat last night....and that is a picture of Ethan about a month older than Lainey is right now. Quite similar eh?!! Too cute!

Fun Japanese Poop Park and Lainey

Ethan and I found a really cool park about 15 minutes from the house. We went to check it out and had a really good time. Ethan was having so much fun that he forgot that he had to go poop and ran to the bathroom. I guess the run made gravity work a little more effectively and made the poor guy poop. He just has so much fun that he doesn't want to waste his time going to the bathroom. Anyway here are some pics of the park and of baby Lainey.

BUGS

Ethan and his friend Joe caught a HUGE grasshopper the other day (with the help of Andy). Both boys were too scared to actually catch it, but once he was in the container they had a great time. They put a bit of water and grass in there for him and carried him around all day. I wish I would have gotten a close up of the wretched thing, it was like 3-4 inches long. EWWW! I felt bad for the nasty grasshopper though and the next day I took of the lid and high tailed it back into the house before it could eat me. Ethan was a bit sad to lose his buddy, but I told him that he wouldn't survive much longer in the container and he needed to be free. So, after a few tears all was well and he went back to playing promising to never forget his little buddy. Ah, the life of a kid!

Lainey's Blessing

We blessed Lainey yesterday and had a nice little family moment. It is the same blessing that I used to bless Ethan when he was about her age. I held her while Ethan held one of her hands and Andy held the other. This is the blessing:
Dear Mother and Father God, we ask today that blessings be bestowed upon this child that stands before you. Let your light of healing morality, and righteousness shine upon her soul today. Let not the roots or tentacles of darkness come near her soul. Let not any temptation or addiction be part of her life plan. Keep her soul under constant watch and protection so that no darkness comes into her sphere of consciousness. Bless and guide her to stay on track and bring about all that is good in her life and those of others. Bless her life so that she will be endowed with purpose and courage, and instill within her soul on this day the light of everlasting grace. Amen.

So here are a few new pics of Lainey. We finally got her name put up above her crib. I love it! We stuck Lainey in the crib and snapped a pic before she tumbled over :).
She loves to take sips from cups, she especially LOVES apple juice.

HAPPY MOM'S DAY!

I came downstairs Mother's Day morning to this wonderful surprise! The boys had a sleepover and decorated the hallway with this and at the end there were two cards (that were just perfect). I sure am a lucky mamma! I have a wonderful little family who made my mother's day splendid!

Mother's Day Weekend.

So we got Ethan a little pool for the backyard. Which he freakin loves. I purchased Annie's Mother's Day gift today and could not wait until Sunday to give it to her. So we took some pics. As you can see Lainey loves to give kisses and has a hell of a fishy face! Lainey is super fat as usual so I took some pics of her rolls. Back rolls mind you, those in the pics are back rolls. I suppose only the morbidly obese and fat babies have those. She is still my baby sweetheart and the cutest baby ever......no matter what. The rolls just mean that she is happy and thriving (at least that's what we tell ourselves). I got Annie some "bling" as they say (i got her diamond earings). She says that she is never going to take them off (points for me)!!! Other than that everything is going great. I'm trying to get ready for Dive School (BLOWS!!!!) who wants to go swimming and do push-ups or run 5 miles and do pull-ups after work. It means something more exciting and worthwhile than what I am doing now, so that makes it worth it. Well that's all I can think of for now....enjoy!
