Kindergarten ice skating field trip!

Andy was a super dad today and got up after only 4 hours of sleep to spend the day with a bunch of kindergarten kids ice skating. He said that it took a little coaxing to get Ethan out on the ice, but once he was out there, he didn't stop for a break once. He fell A LOT....wait until you see his knees, OUCH! He had a blast and was sooooo excited that he finally got to ride on a bus. That was almost as cool as ice skating for him. Go figure.

Andy got a new camera with a bit of our tax money, he is SO excited!! Aren't the pics great?! I am sure we will be posting MANY MANY more in the days to come.

So, Breck won't let me live down these pants. I bought them when I lived in Europe (almost 10 years ago, GASP!) For all of you who think that they are horrific, I haven't worn them for a good 5 years so you can rest easy. I still however love them and even though I don't wear them anymore, they are staying in my tote indefinitely. Maybe they will come back in style right? Breck says that they NEVER WERE IN STYLE...ah geez...

My new shoes!!

Okay, so these are the kind of shoes that you either totally love or totally hate. You either think that they are darling or the ugliest things you have ever seen right?! I totally love them. I can't wait to wear them! Just think how TALL I'll be........

HAPPY V-DAY EVERYONE!!

I also wanted to wish my best friend Breck a HAPPY 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Congrats!! It sucks that it has been a year since I have seen her though...let's just not get started on that eh?! She also found out some other great news....she is having a BOY!!!! One of each now! She sure caught up to me fast! I am so excited for them, little Quinn is going to love having a brother. Lainey and Ethan just adore each other..for now anyway!
We made valentine cookies the other day and I thought I would post Ethan's final product:

Yummy eh?! The kids had a really good time decorating the cookies and eating all the frosting.

Andy took the kids to the park so that I could have a little "alone time". It was SOOO nice. I sat in the bath and read a magazine for an HOUR! It was wonderful!

Andy was standing underneath a tree and something brushed his head, he thought it might have been a leaf or something but then this hopped off it onto the ground!! I would have FREAKED OUT! I tried and tried to get a good pic of Lainey in this dress, but she just wasn't cooperating. This is another one of my outfits when I was a baby. In case you are wondering, no, I did not take her out in public in it! Sorry mom!

Ethan has been sick for a week now. He has had a horrible cold. So, to pass the time he likes to play dress-up.

Notice Lainey's red mouth and face...I gave her a little ranch dressing and this is what happens. It used to happen to Ethan too. They have really sensitive skin like their mamma. Dang it! Please excuse the dirty forehead, I still needed to wash her face. Lainey gets food everywhere when she eats.
