Skoshi Warrior Day 2009

Ethan absolutely loved this last year and this year was no exception. I think it was even better than last year. It was much more organized and although it was really hot out, everyone enjoyed themselves. Skoshi Warrior Day is a mock deployment for kids of military parents. They get to go through a series of stations that are kind of like what their parents have to go through when they deploy. Get ready for TONS of pictures!!

We got to see a demonstration of what a military dog does when he captures a suspect. This was so cool!



They are trained to not let go until their handler tells them to. Here he is spinning around!


Lainey was so funny. Here she is letting a little baby play with her hair. She sat so still just like that for about 2 minutes.

He of course loved the face paint!



We would have had a lot more pictures, but Andy and I had to leave to get little miss Lainey down for her nap. Andy had to write a paper for school as well. Rumi stayed with the kids for the rest of the day and when Ethan got home he had lots of fun stories to tell. It was a great day for Ethan! Lainey had her first birthday party that she was invited to that day, tea party/princess themed. I will post those pics soon!
