She loves to feed you too and she will say "try it, mmmm" as she shoves whatever wet, soggy food she has in her hand right into your mouth whether you like it or not.
She is great at saying please and will say "more water please". She also surprised us the other day by pointing at Ethan's scissors and saying the word really clearly. She also knows that we don't touch them. All knives, scissors, etc. are "owie" and she steers clear of them.
Other things that Lainey is doing right now are:
She loves to "help" me put on my makeup and LOVES lip gloss.
She is awesome at somersaults.
She is climbing on EVERYTHING. If you can get up on it, Lainey has climbed it. She can now get in and out of her crib with ease.
She loves loves loves babies. I am not talking about the dolls (which she does like), but the real ones. Every baby we see she has to go and say hello to. She gets right up in there face, about 3 inches away, and will just stare at them. I know what some of you are thinking and no, I am not going to have another baby for Lainey to adore! Two kids are quite enough for us :).
She is ridiculously strong willed and is a pro at temper tantrums. I am learning to just breathe and walk away. For the most part though Lainey is a sweet loving little girl whom we just adore!

What do I seem to remember about Ethan and drums???? Um, oh yeah, I remember... Lainey is talking like a big girl - lots of words for her age. What cute cute kids -Grampa and I miss them!
Ethan is sweet with Lainey! I found it really cute when he was encouraging her to sing with him and she did so in her soft little voice. I bet Ethan loves being a rock star, plus we know that thanks to Andy he can dance too!
yeah, lainey bug does look a bit "guilty" in the photo. what a cute babydoll. and it appears she is much like her mamma in her adoration of babies. i too remember how much YOU wanted a little brother or sister. but WE weren't "all made to have a dozen". the rock you song is awesome...tell ethan not to worry about his "dancing"....after all, look at uncle jayson! can't wait to see and hear both of your kids. when you guys return.
I love the scrunchy face she is making with that mohawk hair! You totally make that same face :) Seriously...gotta love the stage where they want to share their nasty, disgusting, soggy, already eaten food! GROSS!! Love them playing drums... E is so patient with her!
