Ethan's First Day of School!!!
I can't believe that Ethan is now a first grader! We walked him to school and he went and stood in line and waved goodbye. He did remember to give me a hug, but there were no tears (on either of our parts)! When I went to pick him up yesterday he was like "Mom, you really don't have to walk me to school or home..I can do it myself". Is my child ALREADY embarrassed by me?!! He is getting so independent! I walked him to the corner of our block today and found an older girl for him to walk with. I told him that he is not allowed to walk alone, but he can walk with older friends. I think that is a good compromise...breathe Annie, breathe.. :)

First grade is really a milestone. Please tell Ethan how proud we are of him! He gets more handsome every day. (And apparently there's no walking him all the way to school....sheesh!)
aww, what a cutie! does his backback say "FBI"?? thats rad! i see andy's dad helped to walk him to school...thats awesome he could be there for that! i bet ethan was really excited :)
yes, kids grow UP way too fast! i remember having the same issues with waiting for the bus in mt. sterling....you wanted to stand out there alone, WITHOUT your mother next to either of you. (yet you wanted me to "wave bye" from the porch!) love the new closeup of him smiling!!

Why do they have to grow up? I have a 6th grader this year, and a kindergartner, plus a one year old at home. I am still trying to figure out how on earth I could have a 6th grader! He is cute Annie!

Cannot believe we have first graders!! Time sure flies!! The close-up picture is ADORABLE! Such a handsome little guy ;o) Miss you guys, hope everyone is doing well!! I need to call u one of these days, but I always get messed up with the time change lol!
I feel your pain. I on the other hand did cry. But I have a really high water table. I don't like then growing up like this. And then some days I do!
