Sequoia National Park
We decided to head out to Sequoia yesterday after Lainey's nap. I haven't heard too much about the park but it is a short hour and 15 min drive from our house. It had to be one of the coolest places I have ever been. The winding roads up the mountains were amazing and a little scary at some points. The giant sequoias were more than impressive. I am sure we will visit the park many more times while we are here. Yosemite is only a 2 hour drive, so I think that will be our next adventure.

That is beautiful!!!! I remember a picture of my dad's SUV next to one of those trees and it was like 2x as wide. Crazy huge trees!!!
These pics are unreal! I love seeing how the mountains are so close by and grand...looks so much like Utah. That is so awesome that it's only a 15 min. drive, you guys are so lucky to be surrounded by such beautiful scenery.
What beautiful country, and not a bad drive from your house. Neither your dad nor I have been to Yosemite, so that will be fun to see someday!

Wow! Sequoia NF looks amazing ... so amazing that Jeremy and I are planning to stop on our way to Vegas in late July. Perhaps we can stop by for a visit with you as well?
