Finally, the rest of the house!

See, what did I tell ya, we got our butts in gear and finished the house! Wahoo!

Here is the view of the living room from the stairs:

Now from the other direction:

We incorporated some of the Japanese stuff into the house:

Here is the kitchen:

Our family photo wall:

The upstairs hallway:

The Master Bedroom:

If you are wondering why we don't have a comforter, you can ask Andy. He is what one calls a "blanket hog." So to remedy that, we bought separate blankets. We got these ones in Japan and although they aren't that pleasing to the eye, they are SUPER comfy. Lainey likes to roll around on the "two beds"while saying "mamma's side, daddy's side, mamma's side, daddy's side."

Our new dresser:
Lainey had 3 sliding doors on her closet and they kept slipping out of the tracking. It was driving me nuts so, in true Annie style, I ripped them out and put up curtains (well, Andy put them up)! I like this so much better anyway!

Et Viola! The house is done! It is such a nice feeling.

Ohhh, how I love seeing pics inside of people's houses!!! Your house looks VERY clean and nicely put together. My fav are all of the Japanese sculptures and the family photo wall. Thanks for sharing!

p.s. it looks like Lainey's pj's match her drapes! ;)

It looks fantastic! You guys worked so hard to get it done, and it's all paid off. Can't wait to see it someday!

Oh my gosh...I think it's genetic... The closet door thing! I did the same thing in my "barn apartment". The sliding doors kept getting off the tracks, so I hauled them downstairs into storage, and put up some pretty lace curtains! Lol! And I forgot how much I like your kitchen table, tho I remember poor Gracie jumping off it and breaking her leg! And I also really like your couch and loveseat! And your bed (minus the lack of a comforter!) I'm so glad that you're getting settled with all your stuff. Isn't it great to have it all in one place?!! Can't wait to come and see you!

The house looks great!!! It's so funny that we ended up with the same kanji print (near your desk) and the same shi sha dogs:-) You did a great job and I know you're so thrilled to have all of your stuff and finally settled!!

I love that you used curtains instead of the sliding doors! What a great idea! Oh, and the whole no comforter thing... Andy, you have issues. Love the decor, love the photos, love everything!
