We blessed Lainey yesterday and had a nice little family moment. It is the same blessing that I used to bless Ethan when he was about her age. I held her while Ethan held one of her hands and Andy held the other. This is the blessing:
Dear Mother and Father God, we ask today that blessings be bestowed upon this child that stands before you. Let your light of healing morality, and righteousness shine upon her soul today. Let not the roots or tentacles of darkness come near her soul. Let not any temptation or addiction be part of her life plan. Keep her soul under constant watch and protection so that no darkness comes into her sphere of consciousness. Bless and guide her to stay on track and bring about all that is good in her life and those of others. Bless her life so that she will be endowed with purpose and courage, and instill within her soul on this day the light of everlasting grace. Amen.
It was a very tender moment for us. Bless our little Lainey bug!

May that blessing be your children's guide and shield. That is such a perfect blessing. Makes me want to have more children just so i can use that very blessing for my children. oh,
