We take turns each night saying the dinner prayer. The other day it was Lainey's turn. She usually just repeats the last word that I say in each sentence. At the end we say "in the name of the Father, the Mother and the Holy Spirit. This was how it ends according to Lainey: "In the name of the Father, the Mother and the HOLY CRAP! AMEN!
Our dear Ethan almost peed his pants he thought it was so funny. Andy and I thought it was quite amusing as well!

Lainey just HAD to make cupcakes the other day so I indulged her and we made some. Little did I know that she would have to eat them every morning for breakfast for 3 days in a row (please don't judge, YOU try to quiet down Lainey when she wants something!). I did however make her eat some cereal each morning before she devoured her cuppy cake. We had to sing her happy birthday each morning as well. Here is a clip of her this morning. Notice how pretty my icing job is, I just slapped that stuff on..it's not like it is her REAL birthday!

Love it! I would have cracked up at that dinner table too. So good that you documented this story because this will be a funny one to remember.
I definitely will not judge AT ALL about cupcakes for breakfast. Benjamin had quite his fill of cupcakes last month, and I'm with you, every so often can't hurt! ;)

Can't believe how much hair Lainey has!! I know, not the point of the blog, but still - she has lots of hair!! I still remember you using corn syrup to put a bow on her bald little head:-)

Oh my good hell...that is hilarious about her prayer!! I too would have fallen over laughing :) I love shiz like that :) Too funny about her cupcakes...she definitely knows what she wants!!

You guys are so funny! Those are some great stories. And that window...all I could think was, well when Andy lifts her up there, make sure her hands are clean because you'll never get THOSE fingerprints off!
