Last week Andy and Ethan went to Sequoia National Park for the afternoon.
This was an enormous tipped over tree..it also made a pretty awesome slide! Glad that I wasn't there...I am pretty sure I wouldn't have let him go across that!
The redwoods are so awesome. When I was a kid we lived on a ranch which Hwy 101 ran through and the Eel River. There was a huge redwood tree(like the one Ethan is standing in front of) that was hollowed out using fire and a family lived there during the depression. They had bunk beds in the tree and shelves - it was amazing.
yes, the redwoods are so beautiful....but i,too, would ABSOLUTELY NOT have let him out on the tree over the rocks and creek!We moms worry about stuff like that.... :)

So awesome that the boys can have their adventures! The photos are great and it looks like they had a great time.
