This is a sad post, I don't have any pics of the kids hunting their plastic eggs, nor do I have any of them dyeing eggs...man, I am a hopeless case this year! Ethan and Truman wanted to play outside the day that I wanted them to dye eggs and so we had to wait until the next day to dye them. Problem is, I got a hankering for an egg salad sandwich and decided to use up half of the boiled eggs. OOPS! They each got to dye only 2 eggs...pitiful, I know!! Notice too that I didn't even make them their Easter baskets this year, I just went and bought the cheesy ones from the store. They didn't seem to care though ;). Ethan got this really cool hunting mask from Grammy Barb. I bet you all wish you had one of those eh?! I don't think he has it on quite right, but it works for him!
Thanks to the grandparents who sent all the great cards and stuff. Ethan (and lainey bug) thank you! So do I. Easter candy is my weakness and I think I have eaten candy at every single meal (and snack time) these past few days..mmmmm!

Hey Annie! It is Kasey Nielson. Do you remember me? I came across your blog. Your family is so cute! I had fun looking at your fun pictures. Our blog is blocked but if you want an invite email me at kaseysanders17@yahoo.com.
I love the hunting mask. I think Matt actually DOES wish he had one! Glad you had a Happy Easter, and don't beat yourself up, instead you should be patting yourself on the back for figuring out sooner rather than later that the kids don't care how much work you put into something as long as there is candy involved! Love you guys!
I love the easter chocolates, so don't feel too bad. We usually go through at least 20 bags of the cadbury eggs each easter!
Guess what...you can do whatever you want cause your the mom!! Who cares how many eggs they dyed, or where you got the baskets...E looked like he had fun and who cares if you didnt do it exactly "right"?? Now I want egg salad sandwiches.... yummmm
yay! i think the easter bunny did great this year :) the less stress these damn holidays can be...the better. what the hell is the purpose of dyed eggs, anyway (except to put them on your blog header- yours from last year were darling!). anyway, i am seriously glad quinn was too little to realize what was going on- 1. i ate all her candy, 2. i was too lazy to go to the store and buy her more, and 3. no dyed eggs, no egg hunt, and no visit to the easter bunny.
