Baseball Game and Andy's new ride..

It was Andy's turn to do a post...hence the long wait. I decided that I would just go ahead and do it so we could update the blog before the year ends :).

Andy finally found a car! It is a 1996 Audi Quarto and although it is old, it is in pretty good shape:






The baseball game was fun, but it was really hot that day! We went with our neighbors and thank goodness that they let us borrow some hats for the kids because they would have been miserable without them.

After the game the kids got to run around the bases. Ethan and Lainey loved this part. I think it was my favorite part of the day as well.

Lainey wasn't quite as fast as her brother, but she had our little neighbor Hailey that helped her around.


Although Lainey thought the mascot was cool, she wasn't too eager to go right up and meet him:


All in all is was a great day! We even got gift certificates for a free hamburger from In and Out. We all stopped off for our free meal before heading home. I tell you, even without the meat (just the lettuce, tomato and special sauce), they are the BEST burgers and french fries around!

Pizza Festival!

We went to the Central Valley Pizza Festival and although there really wasn't much pizza, we had a great time! Here are the kiddos on the ponies...Ethan's was named Strawberry and Lainey's was Beau.






We told Ethan to stand up like a normal person and once he did, his sister did the opposite!


There were two stands that sold pizza and then there was this, other than that, not much "pizza stuff", but it was fun anyway!
We mozied on down to the carnival rides and the kids had a great time. At five bucks a pop they better have! Ethan was a good sport and went on all the kiddie rides with his little sister:

Daddy and the kids went down the super slide. It really wasn't so super, kinda slow really, but they seemed to have fun. Notice Lainey's arms:



Tomorrow we are off to a baseball game with our new neighbors/friends. We can't wait and we will post pictures soon!

We stopped off at a road side strawberry stand and got these beauties for 5 bucks!! I love it here!!

STRIKE ONE!!!

I haven't had a manicure or pedicure for months now so I was REALLY looking forward to treating myself to a few birthday presents thanks to my wonderful mother in law Pat. Since I don't know the town yet, it was just kind of point on the map and pick. Well, strike one for me, my manicure was horrible. Seriously, Ethan could have done a better job. Here is a photo just in case you think I am exaggerating:
See how horrible??!! Pardon the fat fingers.. its must have been the camera angle??? You know though, the camera does add ten pounds right?! Oh well, better luck next time!
My pedicure woman was much better and although it is not anything like I got in Japan, I was still happy with it:
Speaking of things to pamper yourself...I was talking to Breck about face cleansers and she told me about this line that Target has, it is called Boots No 7. She actually blogged about it a few months back. I absolutely LOVE this line of products!! It is department store quality, but at half the price. My face is SOOOOO soft after using the products and it is hypo-allergenic to boot! Check it out for yourself, I swear, all their products are awesome! Thanks to Bryan and Trish I was able to use my birthday money to not only buy cleanser, but also night and day cream as well. I am in heaven!!!

That is a pic of Ethan's new bike that he got for his birthday and Lainey's new "bicycle" as she calls it. You should see her, she is a pro on it! She can't yet reach the peddles, but that doesn't stop her, she rocks it out Flinstone style and is outta there in no time. I should get some video of it, it's awesome.

Jayson and Breck's visit plus EASTER!

We had a great time having our first visitors. It was a bit chaotic at times, but that is to be expected with 5 kids! Ethan and Jackson had a great time together and didn't fight once! Lainey and Quinn are at the age where they don't really play together and they mostly fought over toys, but they had a few good moments together :). Owen is truly the happiest baby ever. He just smiles at you whenever you look at him. Lainey was all about Owie. It was soooo nice to finally get to hang out with Jays and Breck again. Speaking of Breck, apparently we didn't get any photos of us on our camera's so will you send me some of yours???!! I will have to steal some of Breck's photos and do another post. Until then, here are some of the pics we got of their stay in Lemoore.

Lainey LOVED to hold Owen! Notice that Owen is practically the SAME size as Lainey. I think that his chubby legs might be even BIGGER than Lainey's were when she was a baby! So cute and squeezable! Not the best photo of me, but oh well. I love my brother!

On the drive out here Breck and Jayson found a Dollar Store Outlet. They were in heaven! I wish I could have been there too! The kids got SOOOO much stuff for Easter this year. They had a blast!


We did the egg dyeing outside. It was a bit chilly, but the kids had a great time.



I am not sure what Uncle Jayson is saying to Ethan..probably something about the art of egg dyeing...

All of us had green fingers the rest of the day!
