Happy Birthday Lainey Bug!

Happy 1 year Lainey! I can't believe how fast time flies! We love her SO very much and she is such a delightful baby. Here is an overview of the last 12 months.....

TWO PONYTAILS!!

Okay, so this is both really cute and really funny. I love how they stick STRAIGHT up! We went out shopping and got a lot of giggles from people and all the Japanese people said "Kawaii" which means cute. I sure think so!



Poor Lainey bug fell and bonked her head. SOOO sad! She will take about 10 steps to make it to you, but she prefers to crawl. She is getting there though!




She is all better now. Notice my shirt all slobbered and gooped on.





Ethan was trying on his dad's new gloves. Notice the freshly scraped nose. He re-scraped it while wrestling on the trampoline with Truman. I told him he needs to take it easy until it heals. Yeah right, try telling that to a 5 year old! He had just eaten a chocolate icecream bar so please pardon the messy face ;).

Happy Birthday My Love!

Happy 28th Birthday Andy!! I still can't believe we are creeping closer and closer to 30....we're getting old! Here are a few of my favorite pics of Andy and the kids.....He is such a wonderful dad!

Here are some new ones that haven't been shared yet. There are some GREAT shots.





My present to Andy was some new lacrosse equipment. He actually got it a day before his birthday and was trying it out and breaking it in, but he wouldn't let me snap any photos of him! We are going to try and make it to a practice soon so I can get some "in action" shots and then you can see all his spiffy new stuff! Yes, I actually used the word spiffy...i know, I'm gross :).

Charlie Brown Christmas Tree!

We decided that we wouldn't get a big tree this year because Lainey is into EVERYTHING! So, we had my mom send us a little "Charlie Brown Tree". We love it! These first two pictures are of the tree when Ethan and Truman decorated it..isn't it beautiful?!!!! I had to leave the room and just occupy myself with something else while they decorated it. It was really hard not to go in and fix it right away. They were SO proud of it!






Here is the finished tree after a little "help" from mom. I told them that we couldn't have so many decorations at the bottom because Lainey would eat them (which is true). They didn't seem to mind at all. Today we are going to put up christmas lights...I will take some pics and let you know how that little adventure goes!

The park

Andy and I took the kids and Ethan's buddies to a little park that is in one of the neighborhoods by our house. Lainey love love loves to be outside. She thinks that she is such a big girl when she is around the older kids. Here are a few fun pics of her:






Ethan is SUCH a boy! Just look at this face...he has scrapes ALL over it. He and Truman were wrestling and he got the upper cheek burn and we think his nose is from the trampoline, but he can't remember!



Ethan can now do the monkey bars all by himself! He learned how to at school.
